Understanding and connecting with you is at the heart of everything. Because no two people are the same, no two weddings should look the same either. That doesn’t happen by accident, that happens because of true care for you and your memories.
I am all about creating an experience where you are so at ease that real emotion can come through. And it's actually fun. Then falling back to intentional and quiet documenting so you enjoy the day as it unfolds. And a sprinkle of gentle guiding for art filled editorial vibes during portraits. Giving you a diverse emotion rich wedding gallery full of beautiful moments that stand the test of time.
Meet Shannon
After 16+ years of photographing weddings in the Bay Area what brings me back to this work is the joy in capturing real unguarded emotion. In crafting images that are intentional and truly beautiful. Connection. Legacy. Real love. Crazy dance floors. Joy. Dad sobbing during his speech. Knowing that as the years go by that your photos will mean more and more. Seeing the loved ones celebrate with you that may no longer be there.
I’m a mix of bubbly, keeping it light and fun, and thoughtful and knowing when needed. I love an iced latte even on the coldest days. My two little girls and husband are my why for everything. I love a serious cinematic art film as much as a goofy comedy. I value experiences, connection (which I’ve mentioned a lot) because it is my true core value. And a good dinner party.
